What a night includes

Every boarding guest gets a private climate-controlled suite with a bed of their own, meals, and time outside on the turf play yards. One night runs from drop-off until 11:00am the following day.

Meals are Life's Abundance at $2 per feeding, or send your pet's own food and the team will serve it. Add-on activities and treats are booked per stay, from a $10 individual walk to $7 Kong time.

Drop-off and pick-up

Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm, Saturday 9:00 to 10:00am and 4:00 to 5:00pm, closed Sunday. Pet Ponderosa is closed on Sundays, so if a trip ends on a Sunday, plan a Saturday or Monday pick-up.

Before the first stay

Dogs need Bordetella, DA2PP and Rabies. Cats need Feline Leukemia and FVRCP. If a vaccine is no longer recommended for your pet, Pet Ponderosa accepts a written exemption letter from your vet.

Book through the reservation portal and upload the records there. Holiday and summer weeks fill early.

How much does it cost to board a dog at Pet Ponderosa?
Boarding is $59 per night for the first dog and $56 for each additional dog. The VIP Room is $69 per dog. Cats are $37 for the first and $35 for each additional. Add $5 per night for intact pets and $10 per pet on holidays. One night runs from drop-off until 11:00am the following day.
What time can I drop off and pick up my pet?
Boarding drop-off and pick-up run Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, and Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00am or 4:00 to 5:00pm. Pet Ponderosa is closed on Sundays, so plan a Saturday or Monday pick-up if your trip ends on a Sunday.

Can you board a pet for several weeks?
Yes. Short stays and long vacations are both welcome, and the nightly rate is the same however long the stay runs. Long stays are worth booking early, especially over holidays.
Do you discount a second pet?
Yes, automatically. A second dog boards at $56 instead of $59, a second cat at $35 instead of $37, and a second dog in daycare is $32 instead of $36.
Can I bring my pet's own food?
Yes, you are welcome to send your pet's own food. If you would rather Pet Ponderosa handle meals, they serve Life's Abundance at $2 per feeding.
